I really don't agree with this take. The nostalgia wears off long before you get to anything fun.

Sure, run around doing your quests and taking in the game again, but the second you start getting bored of it you should afk combats at nmz between gaming sessions and get ~90 atk/str.  https://calistomebel.com/ That will take about a week of full afk nmz. During your active gaming time continue with questing and skilling reqs, then do some chinning/bursting for 90+ ranged and 94 mage and you'll be ready for end game in less than a month of casual play. I'd say that's about the same amount of time it will take for the raw nostalgia to last and your boredom will be ready for all the new content.

Let 90-99 att str range mage and 75-99 defense all come passively from Slayer and pvm and enjoy all the pvm content they've been putting out.

Skilling doesn't get enough love aside from a few minigames but those get boring at the same rate as any individual pvm boss, and generally without the gp treadmill to keep you invested in upgrades. The game has been heavily catered to late game pvm ever since osrs started putting out unique content, so I don't see any value in delaying that beyond the initial nostalgia rush.
